Steve J. Anderson, Builder-President, is a life-long Sarasota native. He attended Riverview High School and is a graduate of Allstate Construction College. Steve holds a Florida State Certified Building Contractors License CBC 028159.

Upon graduation, Steve worked in Sarasota, building homes and condominiums for local and national developers. After working with a large commercial construction firm in Atlanta, Georgia, Steve returned to Sarasota in 1981 to start a new company now known as Anderson Enterprises, Inc.

Steve Anderson's extensive construction experience, ethical conduct, and sound business practices are highly respected by his peers in the community. He has been an active member in good standing with the Gulf Coast Builders Exchange since 1981 serving as board member 1991 thru 2006, and is the past Chairman of the Board. Steve is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders since 1982, serving as National Director in 1994-95. Steve also served as President of the Sarasota Home Builders Association. In the prestigious 50-plus year histories of these Construction Associations, Steve is the only Builder and member to have held both of the top leadership position simultaneously (as elected by his peers and construction professionals) for Manatees and Sarasota's premier Contractors Associations.

Steve's dedication to improving the construction industry and his commitment to community service has resulted in numerous awards and accomplishments. Including past chairman of United Way "Day of Sharing" and years of volunteer service on the Sarasota County Developement services advisory board.

Steve and his wife Sandy, who is also the Office Manager, have four children. The family enjoys the great outdoors of Sarasota, including boating and youth sports. Steve coached youth soccer and he donated the construction of the Twin Lakes Park Soccer Club House Facilities.
